What is the origin of your username?

It was originally from the Moist song Silver. The fact it's one word however, makes it mean a ton of other things.

Where is your user pic from, and what does it mean to you?

It's a painting by Skot Olsen. Basically it's a nun holding a molecule (according to the painting's title it's mescaline but I didn't know that until right now..) Anyways the picture stuck me because I saw it kind of like the nun was looking at the beauty of the world through science. Kind of like being struck by god in the details.

How do you generally stand on political issues?

Relatively lefty. I think we need to take care of the rest of humanity. I tend to vote ndp with the occasional liberal.

I'm a Unitarian Universalist and was raised as one. So if you had to define my beliefs I'm probably mostly humanist, but I find all religions very interesting.
