Pants (singular pant) is a family of clothing consisting of many forms of split-leg coverings. The pant family includes pantaloons, dungarees, jeans, slacks, shorts, and trousers. While commonly worn as a form of leg and buttock covering, pants may also be worn on the head, and even used as a floatation device.
