Make a chocolate milkshake at home

Postby RHCPfan » Tue Aug 17, 19:28

Supplies:
Blender
A lot of Ice
Milk
Chocolate Powder (Bunny stuff)

You first mix the powder and the milk until you get a good flavor. It depends on each person, so it's best to mix it first. Add about three to five tablespoons of sugar. Add ice and throw everything in the blender and put on Ice Breaker, or the second strongerst power. Leave on until you hear no more chunks of ice being broken down. When you finish you have a milkshake. You might want to wait a minute to let the chocolate go down to the bottom and then mix it again for five seconds. Enjoy.

Warning-if you have a cheap blender it might break the metal things at the bottom. I don't remember what they are called.

Um...blades?
I don't usually have much luck trying to make chocolate milk in the blender. I usually mix the cocoa and sugar with a bit of milk to make a paste first, then add the rest of the milk slowly.

I usually use ice cream instead of the powder and ice. It's just easier. And it's thicker.

I may be mistaken but I think if one uses icecream, it is referred to as a 'frappe', and not a milkshake. I think it depends on where you're from, and you'll find different people call them different things.

But yummy, anyways. I shall try this...

ice = granité or slush or just classy iced beverage to me
ice cream = milkshake or frappé

but that's just my 2¢
