We can always use suggestions for the Feminist of the Day. Who qualifies? Any well-known, well-documented person who believes that women should have equal opportunities for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. People who fight to change laws that oppress women are feminists. People who speak out against society expectations that keep women from acheiving their dreams are feminists. Women who accomplish amazing things, serving as examples to other females about what we can do and inspiring all of us to stand up for what we believe in, belong in the database even if they don't all call themselves feminists.
Before suggesting a feminist, please review the all-encompassing list of names to make sure we don't already have your person.
The database is updated every month or so. Feminists have to be researched and approved before they get a day, but you can help speed the process along by filling in as much information as possible in this little form.
